Terms and Conditions of Use
All the conditions listed below are subject to Legislative Decree 206 of 2005 – Consumer Code.
The offer and sale of products or services on the website www.kontedesign.com are governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing the website www.kontedesign.com, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, you cannot use or access the website www.kontedesign.com. The website www.kontedesign.com may only be used for personal purposes. Commercial use of the website is prohibited.
Commercial Line
The Selling Company offers products for sale on www.kontedesign.com and conducts its e-commerce activities exclusively towards its end users referred to hereinafter as “Customers” or singularly as “Customer”.
Delivery and Costs
All products purchased on the website will be shipped within 2/4 working days from receipt of the order, unless otherwise indicated in the offer. For custom-made items, it may take up to 5 working days.
Items will be shipped via GLS, SDA, or BRT couriers. Delivery times are 24/72 hours for Italy and 48/96 hours for Europe.
Shipping in Italy is free for orders over €79.99.
Shipping costs in Europe are:
- €16.90 for chairs and other lightweight products,
- €59.90 for heavy and bulky products.
Returns and Refunds
If an order, or part of it, does not satisfy the Customer, they have 14 days from receiving the goods to request a return.
The purchased item must be prepared in its original packaging including all its parts, and the company will arrange for pickup at the customer’s address.
The product will be picked up first, and once received at our warehouse, the replacement merchandise will be shipped or a refund will be issued.
In the case of products shipped on pallets, the Customer must also keep the pallet so that the company can pick up the goods.
Within 5 working days of receiving the goods, a refund will be issued net of the withdrawal costs equal to €25.00 for shipments up to 20 kg or €50.00 in the case of products shipped on a pallet or parcels weighing more than 20 kg.
Payments
Payment for purchases is made on the day of the Order by credit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MasterCard), PayPal (MasterCard, VISA, VISA ELECTRON), Scalapay, or Google Pay. In the case of payment via PayPal, the charge or refusal will be immediate. In the case of payment by bank transfer, we will await receipt of the same in the company’s current account. According to the provisions of the Privacy Policy, we do not store your bank details to ensure greater security of personal data processing. The Customer is required to register and print the payment details if they wish to retain the details of their bank transaction.
If you buy with Scalapay, you will receive your order immediately and pay in 3 installments. Note that the installments will be transferred to Incremento SPV S.r.l., related parties, and their assignees, and you authorize such transfer.
Security
The website www.kontedesign.com uses PayPal for credit card payments. The information entered regarding your credit card details will be sent to PayPal through a secure server that uses the SSL3 protocol with 128-bit encryption, the highest security standard for sending sensitive information over the Internet. The SSL protocol is issued, certified, and guaranteed by VERISIGN.
The system simultaneously operates on two levels of control: SSL3 at 128 bits; it protects the forwarding of your data from your browser to the PayPal server, making them unreadable to third parties. Verisign; certifies with a Secure Server ID that you are actually communicating only and exclusively with the PayPal server. Therefore, credit card data is processed exclusively by PayPal for the necessary checks to authorize online payment.
Fashion Commerce S.r.l., therefore, will not have access to credit card data but will only handle Customer data (name, surname, address, etc.) necessary for the delivery of products to their home.
